Living History Days

Over the weekend, the Crawford Park District held Living History Days at Lowe Volk Park. they had vendor’s, storytellers, activities for children and (our favorite part) a reenactment of the capture of Col. William Crawford, which happened in that area.

It was very interesting, and we wished we could have taken the bus over to Wyandot County to the burn site, but we had a prior engagement. Hopefully, we’ll get to do it next year.

The Crawford Park District always has something  going on, and Lowe Volk is always a great place to take a nature walk, and go in to visit the nature center.

CPD Photo Contest

I recently entered some of my work in the Crawford Park District‘s photo contest. While I didn’t win the Best in Show, I did manage to get 2 ribbons. Congrats to Adam Knapp of  Ark PhotoDesign on his Best in Show image.

All entries are on display throughout November at Lowe Volk Park, if you’ve never been there, you should go check it out. Lot’s of things on display, learning activities for kids, and the beautiful trail along the Sandusky.
