Butterman Family

I’ve really been enjoying the mini-sessions that I’ve been doing, I finished this round of them with this beautiful family. My first time shooting twins and they couldn’t have been any cuter.

Happy Birthday Jax!

The middle grandson turns 5 today, so we went out for a small birthday shoot last week. He’s always been the best one about posing for me and having his picture taken, at least for a brief amount of time.

Happy birthday, Jax!!!!

Catstock 2016

Most of you know I have a cat named Ming, who came from a shelter in Defiance, that people can watch on cam.

Each year, as a thank you to the area, and all the people who watch, and are a part of the shelter, they have a little carnival called Catstock! There is good food, games for the kids, raffles, a dunk tank, and the Strawberry Hill band played for everyone. Everyone had a wonderful time and nobody let a little rain bother them.

My favorite part is going to see the kitties of the Friends of Felines Rescue Center.  If you’d ever like to watch the cam and learn about the center you can see it here.

Our New Home

I was super excited when I was contacted about doing a session to document the purchase of a new home…well, old home, but new to them.  I thought it was a great idea and I had a fun time with them.

Congrats on your new home!

Hummingbirds

Spring and summer bring lots of birds to Ohio and one of my favorites are the Ruby-throated hummingbirds. When we moved into the house we live in now, I kept telling everyone that I saw a hummingbird and needed to get a feeder for it, they laughed at me and made a joke about the hummingbird that only mom sees. One day I finally snapped a pic of it , I named her Millie, and once I put a feeder out for her, she was here all the time. That was 7 years ago, and while I’m sure the original Millie is gone, I hope the ones that visit my feeder now, are her descendants. I know I’ve had at least 4 different ones this year, and I’ve managed to grab a few shots, much better ones than the ones 7 years ago.
