Katie ~ Col. Crawford 2015 Senior

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of taking this beautiful girls senior pictures. Katie, is my first senior since fall and my first from Col. Crawford. Other than the wind, it was a great day and we had a lot of fun on this shoot.  I could not have asked for a better senior to work with, thanks Katie!

Nature Walk at Sheldon

We went to Sheldon Marsh twice last weekend, since there was rain in the area I didn’t take my camera on the first trip. We didn’t see a whole lot, but we did see several bluebirds. I took my camera on the second trip, but the bluebirds were gone. However, I finally got to see a red headed woodpecker, which was a first for me, and of course the resident red tailed hawk was there, but this time we got to see her mate as well, they were working on their nest. We brought peanuts, so we had lots of squirrels and blue jays stalking us and the red winged blackbirds came back last week so we got to hear them during our walk, it sounded like spring, even though it was still a little chilly. We also heard a great horned owl in the distance, but we never got a glimpse of it…one of these days though.

P52 Sweet Shot Tuesday with Kent Weakley

Winter’s End (hopefully)

February brought far too much cold and snow for me, so I was a happy camper when last weekend brought some slightly warmer temps and I could get out and shoot where I like it best…out in nature.
